An Overview of Our Available Spray Head Variants

Graichen offers a variety of spray heads for aerosol cans in different designs, nozzle openings, and insert variants. The spray heads are primarily made of white PP plastic and can be combined with different inserts depending on the variant. This allows the spray pattern, flow rate, and application to be specifically tailored to the respective product.

The available variants differ, among other things, in the color and shape of the insert, the size of the nozzle opening, and special designs such as extended inserts, spray heads with tubes, or special cover and application systems.

Standard Spray Heads with Plane Insert

2620-0235 – Standard spray head with red Plane insert

This version features a white PP actuator and a red, extended plane insert. With a nozzle opening of Ø 0.025″ / 0.64 mm, this spray head is suitable for traditional aerosol applications requiring a defined spray pattern.

The red insert color makes it easier to visually distinguish between variants and facilitates easy identification in production, warehousing, and use.

2620-0237 – Standard spray head with natural-colored Plane insert

The 2620-0237 spray head is equipped with a white PP actuator and a natural-colored Plane insert. The larger nozzle opening, with a diameter of 0.031″ / 0.80 mm, is suitable for applications where a higher flow rate or a more powerful spray is desired.

This option is ideal for products where robust and consistent application is a priority.

2620-0239 – Standard spray head with yellow Plane insert

This version combines a white PP actuator with a yellow Plane insert. The nozzle opening is Ø 0.018″ / 0.46 mm, allowing for more precise dosing compared to versions with a larger opening.

The yellow insert makes this version easily recognizable and is suitable for applications where a consistent, controlled release is important.

2620-0248 – Standard spray head with yellow Plane insert

The 2620-0248 spray head features a white PP actuator and a yellow Plane insert with a nozzle opening of Ø 0.020″ / 0.51 mm. This version is suitable for standard aerosol can applications with a medium spray pattern.

The combination of a white spray head and a yellow insert makes it easy to identify this model and assign it to specific applications.

Spray Heads with Concave Inserts

2620-0238 – Spray head with black concave insert

This version features a white PP actuator and a black concave insert. The nozzle orifice has a diameter of Ø 0.020″ / 0.51 mm. The concave insert promotes a precise spray pattern and is suitable for applications where a defined spray point is important.

The black insert design also makes it easier to visually distinguish this model from other spray head variants.

2620-0244 – Spray head with black concave insert and small nozzle opening

The 2620-0244 spray head is equipped with a black concave insert and a smaller nozzle orifice with a diameter of Ø 0.016″ / 0.41 mm. This version is particularly suitable for applications that require a finer, more controlled spray pattern.

The reduced opening allows for more precise control of the spray volume.

2620-0264 – Spray head with a red concave insert and a very small nozzle opening

This version features a red concave insert with an exceptionally small nozzle opening of Ø 0.009″ / 0.25 mm. It is suitable for applications that require very precise dosing or a significantly reduced product flow rate.

The red insert also serves as a clear visual indicator of the variant.

Spray heads with special insert designs

2620-0240 – S-Actuator with blue extended insert

The 2620-0240 spray head is a white S-Actuator and is equipped with a blue, extended Plane insert. The nozzle orifice has a diameter of Ø 0.025″ / 0.64 mm.

This version is suitable for applications that require a specific actuator shape and an extended insert. The blue insert makes it easy to distinguish this model from others in the product line.

2620-0242 – Spray head with natural-colored insert

This version features a white PP actuator and a natural-colored insert with a nozzle opening of Ø 0.020″ / 0.51 mm. It is suitable for traditional aerosol applications requiring a neutral, unobtrusive insert color.

The spray head offers a simple and functional solution for products with defined dispensing characteristics.

2620-0243 – Spray head with black insert

The 2620-0243 spray head is equipped with a white PP actuator and a black insert. The nozzle opening is Ø 0.020″ / 0.51 mm.

This version is suitable for applications that require standardized spray dispensing with clear visual identification of the variant.

2620-0247 – Spray head with black L-insert

This model features a white PP actuator and a black L-insert. The nozzle orifice has a diameter of Ø 0.020″ / 0.51 mm. The L-insert is suitable for applications that require a specific insert geometry to achieve the desired spray pattern.

This version is ideal for products where the spray direction, outlet, or dispensing must be precisely adjusted.

Spray heads with tubes and custom designs

2620-0253 – Spray head with red tube

The 2620-0253 spray head is equipped with a white PP actuator, a black insert, and a red tube. The tube is 119 mm long, has an outer diameter of 2.15 mm, and an inner diameter of 1.0 mm.

This variant is particularly well-suited for applications in which the product needs to be applied precisely to hard-to-reach areas. Typical applications include technical sprays, lubricants, maintenance products, or applications requiring pinpoint application.

2620-0255 – Spray head with large opening

This version is designed as a white PP actuator with a large opening of Ø 0.047″ / 1.20 mm. It is suitable for applications that require a larger dispensing volume or a stronger product flow.

The spray head can be used for products where a high flow rate is more important than precise dosing.

2630-0137 – Large cover head with valve and riser pipe

The 2630-0137 variant is a special version featuring a large black cover head, a black actuator, an elbow, a lock nut, a locking sleeve, a valve, and a riser tube. This design is suitable for special applications that require a larger cover head and integrated product guidance via the riser tube.

This design is particularly well-suited for applications that require a combination of ease of use, protective features, and targeted product retrieval.

Typical areas of application

The various spray head options can be used in many applications depending on the product formulation, valve, propellant, and desired spray characteristics, for example:

  • technical sprays
  • Cleaning and care sprays
  • Maintenance and Lubricant Products
  • Corrosion protection products
  • Marking and Coating Sprays
  • Products with a low or reduced dosage
  • Products with higher sales volumes
  • Applications involving precise dispensing through tubes
  • Specialty products with a larger cover head or special product guidance
