The product developer Graichen, together with the southern German measurement service provider topometric, has developed an entire portfolio of 3D scanning sprays for optical measurement technology under the name ATTBLIME.

The novelty of the products is that the ingredient cyclododecane, which has not been available for several years but was previously established for decades and is harmless both to the environment and to health, can be relaunched and produced in a version optimized for industrial 3D metrology.

In contrast to other self-volatilizing scanning sprays, this one enables a much longer and thus reliable service life, so that the metrology engineer once again has sufficient time for the highly accurate acquisition of the surfaces to be digitized. Time-consuming re-spraying is reduced to a minimum here.

The 3D scanning sprays are available in both semi-permanent and sublimating versions in aerosol cans and also as containers for compressed air or also battery spray systems. All versions are free of titanium dioxide (TiO2), n-hexane and adamantane.

The acquisition of measuring points was previously associated with high costs – MTT Measurement Technology Trade GmbH, better known as messpunkte.de, wanted to change that. This is why experts from the measurement technology and printing industries have joined forces here to develop their own measuring points that meet the qualitative requirements of established suppliers, but offer end customers a better price/performance ratio.

In this way, it has been possible to offer users of optical measuring systems a low-cost alternative to OEM products at the same level.

In addition to measuring points for stripe light and laser scanners, messpunkte.de also offers self-developed measuring probes and reference backdrops.

Through the cooperation of ATTBLIME and messpunkte.de, users of measuring systems such as those from ZEISS, GOM, Creaform or even Scantech and specialists in industrial metrology can now be offered an even broader portfolio of consumables and accessories from a single source.
